Located on the ground floor of our Connaught Lodge, our two meeting rooms are in a quiet location away from holidaying guests in the main hotel. Your delegates could even stay over in the Connaught Lodge for convenient direct access to the meeting rooms.
With your safety in mind, we’ve changed how we run meetings and events at The Connaught Hotel and Spa. Our new procedures are under constant review and will always follow the latest government advice.
Whether it’s checking in and out, ordering refreshments or booking a spa treatment – we have invested in making our services available digitally. Meeting rooms are cleaned and fully sanitised between each use and we are operating on a card payment only system in all areas of the hotel.
Our enhanced deep cleaning programme is carried out throughout the whole hotel, perspex screens have been installed where possible and all of our team will follow a policy of no physical contact, maintaining social distancing wherever possible.

All tables and chairs can be moved around too so you can always move even further apart if the space allows it.
We have installed hand sanitising stations in all public areas of the hotel and are ensuring all touch points are sanitised after each use. Guests are required to wear a face mask in all public areas of the hotel (excludes areas such as the restaurant, bar, spa and bedrooms).
Food and refreshments can be pre-ordered from our team for pre-arranged times throughout the day. We are also able to provide packed lunches individually and safely wrapped for each delegate if you prefer.

The larger of our two hotel meeting rooms, The Franklyn suite holds 25 to 150 delegates, making it the perfect Bournemouth conference venue. Ideal for drinks receptions, company kick-off meetings and business conferences, among other large-scale events.
Together with its own bar, The Franklyn Suite benefits from a private lounge and an enclosed courtyard garden. Plus, its neighbouring proximity to our smaller Boardroom, which can be hired as a syndicate room if required.
Bournemouth meeting rooms don’t come much better than The Boardroom, if you’re looking for an intimate working space. Available to hire privately, or in conjunction with our larger Franklyn Suite,
The Boardroom is the perfect meeting room for groups of 8-20 delegates or as a private dining venue for a maximum of 16 guests seated. Chair and table formations can be arranged as required. Business materials such as flip charts, LCD projectors and screens, are also available on request.

Executive double room was spacious clean and modern with seating area large TV balcony and seating. Air conditioning unit helped with the warm weather and hypoallergenic duvet and pillows helped with the hay fever. The breakfast was excellent with good choice especially if you didn’t want a cooked breakfast. Lounge and seating area welcoming and comfortable. A great find
Great hotel to stay for the conference venue
Booked 2 twin rooms Oma bed and breakfast basis for myself and 3 collegues. Very clean, relaxing hotel, bar food very good, swimming pool and gym very good. Staff very helpful. Will stay again when next in bournmouth.
Great business trip
We had a most enjoyable stay, rooms clean and air conditioned, staff were without exception very helpful and obviously well trained. Food was excellent especially deserts. A good breakfast with plenty of Toast!
I would recommend this hotel for the young and old. Great rates which you would expect from a Best Western. Friendly staff always ready to help. Great breakfast and the brasserie was just perfect all at a reasonable price. The pool was just fantastic. Had no problem with parking, a great weekend. Will return.
