THE PERFECT LOCATION

For the convenience of your guests, looking for funeral wake venues near Bournemouth Crematorium is likely to be near the top of your wish list.

The Connaught Hotel and Spa is a 10 minute drive from Bournemouth Crematorium and 20 minutes from Poole Crematorium.

We offer FREE parking at the hotel, although spaces are only available for the immediate family. This is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. However, there is FREE residential parking in all the surrounding roads, plus a long stay car park just a five minute walk away.

Our car park has flat access to all communal areas of the hotel, making it suitable for those with limited mobility.

We’re just a five minute walk from Bournemouth town centre too, so there are great public transport links for anyone arriving by train or bus. We’re 1.5 miles from Bournemouth train station.

We offer funeral reception venues of all sizes, suitable for small intimate gatherings all the way up to 120 guests.

Audio visual equipment (large screen TV, LCD projector, DVD player etc) is available in all of our wake venues if you’d like to share photographs or videos on a big screen. Please ask us for more information about this.
