The Connaught Afternoon Tea

The Connaught Hotel and Spa is the perfect place to enjoy an afternoon tea in Bournemouth, whether you’re catching up with a few friends or celebrating something special as a large group.

Delicately crafted by our talented team of award-winning 2 AA Rosette chefs, we serve traditional afternoon tea, and at 48 hours’ notice we also offer vegan afternoon tea, vegetarian afternoon tea and gluten-free afternoon tea.

In the summer months, bask in the sun on your choice of beautiful garden terraces. And in the winter, an afternoon tea by the open fire in our Drawing Room is the perfect way to indulge.

Why not treat someone special with an afternoon tea gift voucher? Or for those looking to truly indulge we also offer spa day gift vouchers which includes a day of pampering plus an afternoon tea or two course lunch.

Booking your afternoon tea at our hotel isn’t essential, but we recommend making a reservation in advance so that we can guarantee availability.

Christmas at The Connaught Hotel and Spa Bournemouth is one of the highlights of the year, and our Festive Afternoon Tea doesn’t disappoint. Think traditional afternoon tea but with a Christmas twist.

Booking is essential. We’re also available for private bookings for 8-100 guests.

Had the best afternoon tea this lunch time. I had the gluten free which without doubt was the best I have ever had. The regular one my friend had looked equally as good. Both with fresh from the oven scones. The staff were friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend.

We went to this lovely hotel for an anniversary afternoon tea. Staff very helpful. catered for all our needs. Selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes was great. lovely setting. we sat in the lounge with an open fire. Will be going back.

We’re perfectly located, just a five minute walk from Bournemouth town centre and a few minutes from the beach. With parking available on site (subject to availability) and a public car park just up the road.
