Local Area

While staying in Bournemouth, you will undoubtedly want to explore the local attractions.   The Connaught recommends;

There's lots to do in Bournemouth - explore the golden sandy award winning beaches or take a trip on the Bournemouth eye for a birds eye view.    With excellent shopping and nightlife and lots of family attractions theres something for everyone.

New Forest

Right on our door step, take a day trip out to the beautiful New Forest.  Perfect for picnics, country pubs and activities such as bike rides, horse riding and quad biking.   Visit historic Beaulieu with its own motor museam and gardens for you to explore.

Poole Quay, just a few miles from the hotel is the perfect place for you to enjoy a quayside lunch or take a day trip out to the beautiful Brownsea Island - birthplace of the scouts.   Go further afield from the harbour and visit Jersey or Guernsey.

With its medley of boutique shops and museums, Christburch is great for a day out.   Visit the Christchurch Priory, harbour and Highcliffe Castle.

No visit to the south of England would be complete without a visit to the ancient Stone Henge, right next to Salisbury.   Visit the Salisbury Cathedral and explore the shops, bars and restaurants.
